STUDY MICROBIOLOGY IN UKRAINE 2025-2026

WHAT DEGREE LEVELS ARE AVAILABLE TO STUDY MICROBIOLOGY IN UKRAINE?

Microbiology degrees in Ukraine are at two levels.

1: BACHELOR

Microbiology in Ukraine is offered for a bachelor’s degree, and it consists of 4 years. It is offered at many national universities in Ukraine.

2: MASTERS

A master’s in Ukraine for microbiology is offered for 2 years at national universities.

WHAT QUALIFICATION IS REQUIRED TO STUDY MICROBIOLOGY IN UKRAINE?

Microbiology courses are offered at bachelor’s and master’s degree levels at national universities in Ukraine.

To study for a bachelor’s degree in microbiology, all national and international applicants are required to have a secondary school certificate, and foreign applicants should have a travel passport, as they require it for traveling to Ukraine.

For a master’s degree in Ukraine, foreign and national applicants should have a bachelor’s degree that they present for admission to any university in Ukraine.

HOW TO SEND ADMISSION DOCUMENTS? 

In the past, foreign students had been using the postal and courier services to send their documents, which was an expensive and time-consuming procedure.

Now it has become fastest and easiest to send the admission documents by scanning them into the email of the admissions office.

It is the fastest and easiest way to send and receive documents, and the admissions office accepts the scanned copies of documents, but these scanned documents should be in a readable format and also visible.

HOW DOES THE ADMISSION PROCESS WORK IN UKRAINE?

The admission staff accepts the scanned copies of documents, and once the documents are received, the admission staff starts the eligibility assessment process, which lasts for 2 days.

After assessment, the admission staff informs the foreign applicants about their eligibility by an email.

Foreign applicants who are found eligible are required to send their admission fee, while ineligible applicants are asked to scan more academic documents if required for the completion of their admission processing.

WHERE ARE OFFICIAL STUDY INVITATIONS PROCESSED FOR STUDYING AT UNIVERSITIES IN UKRAINE?

In almost all European countries, the admissions are approved by the colleges and universities, but in Ukraine, the admissions for foreign students are issued by the Ministry of Education, Ukraine.

Once the admission fee is received, the admission documents are forwarded to the Ministry of Education, Ukraine, for the issuance of an official study invitation, and this process at the Ministry of Education, Ukraine, takes 2 weeks.

Once issued, these official study invitations are sent by courier service to foreign applicants, as they require an original copy for Ukrainian student visa processing.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS STUDYING MICROBIOLOGY IN UKRAINE

Algerian international students every year come to study microbiology at national universities in Ukraine, and Algerian international students in their first year study at a Ukrainian language faculty and then join their microbiology degree programs.

Egyptian international students every year come in huge numbers to study their different courses at universities in Ukraine, and at almost every national university in Ukraine, Egyptian international students are studying their different courses.

Egyptian international students obtain their Ukrainian student visas from the Ukraine Visa Center in Egypt.

Eritrean international students have always been joining different universities in Ukraine, and international Eritrean students mostly prefer to study their courses in English.

Swaziland nationals come to study microbiology in Ukraine, and at several universities in Ukraine, these Swaziland students are studying.

Swaziland nationals obtain their Ukrainian student visas from the embassy of Ukraine in South Africa.

Ethiopian international students are also studying in Ukraine for their different courses and microbiology too, and every year, a few international students from Ethiopia join Ukrainian universities.

Gabon nationals also join Ukrainian institutions to study microbiology, but at present, international students from Gabon are not in huge numbers studying in Ukraine.

Namibian international students come every year to join microbiology faculties in Ukraine, and international Namibian students are studying in good numbers at universities in Ukraine. Namibian international students prefer to study their degree programs in English.

Nigerian international students are in huge numbers studying microbiology courses at Ukrainian universities, and there is not any university in Ukraine where Nigerian students are not studying their desired courses.

Nepalese nationals are always keen to study abroad, and  international Nepalese students mostly join preparatory courses in Ukraine. Nepalese international students obtain their Ukrainian student visas from the embassy of Ukraine in India.

Pakistani international students have always been arriving in Ukraine for their higher education in different areas of studies, and at almost every national university in Ukraine, international Pakistani students are studying their different courses. Many Pakistani  international students also come to study language courses.

Pakistani  international students also like to study microbiology at Ukrainian universities, and  international students from Pakistan obtain their Ukraine study visas from the Ukraine Visa Centers in Pakistan.

Turkish  international students have always been arriving in Ukraine for their higher education at Ukrainian universities, and  international Turkish students in their first year study at a preparatory faculty for Ukrainian language and then join their microbiology and other degree courses.

From the United Arab Emirates, many foreign students come to study different degree programs in Ukraine, and most foreign students arriving from the United Arab Emirates are nationals of different Asian and African countries.

Foreign students from the United Arab Emirates are issued Ukrainian student visas by the Ukrainian embassy in the United Arab Emirates.

Yemeni nationals also arrive in Ukraine for different degree courses, including microbiology. International students from Yemen in their first year study at a Ukrainian language faculty and then start their microbiology courses.
