DEGREE LEVELS FOR ASTRONOMY IN UKRAINE

1:BACHELOR

It is an undergraduate degree in astronomy and consists of 4 Years.

For admission foreign students must have secondary school certificate with them and they must have studied Physics and Mathematics.

For example Nigerian students who have completed their secondary school with Physics and Mathematics may qualify for admission at astronomy faculties undergraduate level.

Ghanaian students also may quality with same conditions as Nigerian students.

Cameroonian students also require a secondary school certificate with Physics and Mathematics.

Zambian students also require the same qualification as other African students for admission in Ukraine at astronomy faculties.

2:MASTERS

Foreign students who have completed their bachelor degree may qualify for admission in astronomy at Ukrainian national universities.

Masters degree in Astronomy consists of 2 Years at national universities.

MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTIONS FOR STUDYING ASTRONOMY

All foreign students who come to Ukraine for studying astronomy first year study at Russian language faculty with science subjects and than after Russian language course these foreign students join their astronomy degree programs in Ukraine.

WHERE DO FOREIGN STUDENTS STAY DURING HIGHER EDUCATION IN UKRAINE?

Foreign students who come to Ukraine for studying astronomy at national universities stay at university hostels during their whole academic period.

These university hostels are fully equipped with living facilities.

At these hostels in Ukraine for astronomy students,3 students share a room.

ADMISSION PROCESS FOR ASTRONOMY

Interested foreign students scan their educational documents with international passport copies in the Email of admission staff for assessment.

Admission staff complete the assessment process within 2 Days maximum and inform the foreign applicants by Email for admission results.

Eligible applicants send their admission fee and inform the admission office by Email.

Upon receiving the admission fee their documents are sent to the Ministry of Education,Ukraine as  admissions for foreign students for studying any course official study invitations are issued by Ministry of Education,Ukraine.

Once study invitation is issued,It is sent to the applicant through courier service.

UKRAINE STUDENT VISA PROCESS FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS

Once admission letter has been received by the student,He/She complete the Ukraine study visa file for submission at Ukraine visa center and within 2 Weeks maximum Ukraine student visa is issued.

Foreign student scan the visa and air ticket copy to admission office as admission staff require these copies for preparation of reception documents.

Admission office member receive the foreign student at international airport in Ukraine and manage the accommodation and studies.
