WHERE TO STUDY METEOROLOGY IN UKRAINE?
Meteorology is offered at national universities working under the Ministry of Education, Ukraine, and these universities are located in different major cities.
The teaching staff in Ukraine at meteorology faculties are meteorology specialists and teach the foreign students in a friendly atmosphere.
Meteorology graduates from Ukrainian universities join different practical areas of meteorology in the world, as meteorology degrees from Ukraine are recognized everywhere in the world.
Foreign students from different countries live in university hostels in Ukraine and enjoy their academic stay.
These hostels are administered by the universities’ administrations, and they provide every living facility to these foreign students in Ukraine at these hostels.
International students live in shared rooms with other foreign students.
DEGREE LEVELS FOR STUDYING METEOROLOGY IN UKRAINE
In Ukraine, there are two degree levels offered for national and foreign students.
1: BACHELOR’S IN METEOROLOGY
A bachelor’s degree in meteorology is offered for 4 years at undergraduate faculties in Ukraine, and many foreign students join these meteorology faculties every year.
2: MASTER’S IN METEOROLOGY
A master’s in meteorology is offered for 2 years for foreign students who already have a bachelor’s degree in meteorology, no matter whether from Ukraine or abroad.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR STUDYING METEOROLOGY IN UKRAINE
For a bachelor’s in meteorology, foreign students submit their secondary school certificate copy. Indian and Pakistani international applicants are required to have a 12-year intermediate certificate in order to apply for admission to meteorology undergraduate faculties.
For African international students, here are some examples:
A Ghanaian international student who wants to study meteorology at one of the Ukrainian universities can scan a secondary school certificate copy in the email of the admissions office.
Ghanaian international students who want to study for a master’s in meteorology in Ukraine should have a bachelor’s degree to apply to one of the undergraduate faculties.
Nigerian international students always apply in good numbers to study meteorology in Ukraine, so Nigerian international students who want to study for an undergraduate program in meteorology need to have a secondary school certificate.
Nigerian international students for a master’s in meteorology should have a bachelor’s degree in order to apply for admission to the graduate faculties of meteorology.
Cameroonian international students also require a secondary school certificate for applying to meteorology undergraduate faculties in Ukraine.
For a master’s degree admission, Cameroonian international students apply with a bachelor’s degree, and they earned this degree in Cameroon or abroad; it does not play any role.
Zambian international students are always known as brilliant international students counted in Ukraine, and for admission to undergraduate faculties, Zambian international students send their secondary school certificate with an international passport copy in the email of the admissions office.
For a master’s in Ukraine, Zambian international students are required to present their bachelor’s degree in order to apply for admission to graduate faculties of meteorology.
